President of the Management Board of Defence Institute Sp. z o.o., where he heads the Team for Military and Non-Military Security in the National and International Dimension.
A Lieutenant General of the Polish Armed Forces and holder of a PhD in Social Sciences. He has 35 years of experience gained through military service at all levels of command within the Polish Armed Forces, both domestically and abroad, beginning with command of a battalion, brigade, and division, and culminating in international command of the Eurocorps in Strasbourg.
He has extensive experience in international and allied cooperation, acquired, among others, through his involvement in NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) and service within the Security Assistance Group – Ukraine (SAG-U). In addition, he participated three times in missions abroad: MNDCS – Iraq (2004), UNDOF (2008), and NTM-I (2009).
He is a graduate of numerous studies and professional courses, including at the NATO Defence College, NATO School Oberammergau, Baltic Defence College, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, National Defence Academy of Poland, Military University of Technology, Polish Naval Academy, and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
His areas of expertise include contemporary leadership, the national crisis management system, and NATO crisis response mechanisms. For the past five years, he has also focused on cybersecurity, holding an MBA in this field.
