
Mirosław Maj is the Founder and President of the Secure Cyberspace Foundation. He served as a member of the Council for Digital Affairs during its fifth term and as an advisor to the Minister of National Defence.
He works with SecureViso and Trecom, supporting the companies in expanding their portfolios with advanced cybersecurity services. Previously, he was associated with NASK, where he led the CERT Polska team. He was also a co-founder of ComCERT SA, Poland’s first commercial company providing CSIRT services, which is now part of the Asseco Poland Group.
Mirosław Maj lectures on cybersecurity at several universities, including Warsaw University of Technology and the Military University of Technology.
He is a co-founder and Board Member of the international Open CSIRT Foundation, which coordinates cooperation among hundreds of CSIRT teams through the TF-CSIRT and Trusted Introducer communities, as well as develops maturity models for incident response teams.
He holds a SIM3 (Security Incident Management Maturity Model) auditor certification and is a co-author of the SIM3 model.
