The SOC of the Future: People, Automation, Outsourcing

Room 3 / 16:15 - 17:15 / 07 October 2026 (Day 1)

Faced with a growing number of cyberattacks and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements—resulting, among other things, from the amendment to the Act on the National Cybersecurity System—organizations must redefine how they build their operational capabilities in this area. Not every institution or company can afford to set up its own Security Operations Center (SOC), which is why it is crucial to find the right balance between in-house expertise, process automation, and the use of external services. During the discussion, we will consider when it is worthwhile to develop in-house security teams and when outsourcing is a more effective solution. We will also discuss how to scale threat detection and response capabilities to ensure a high level of protection while optimizing costs.
